Terms & Conditions

Before we get into specifics, let us be clear on our shipping “philosophy”:

  • We want to get things to you as quickly as humanly possible
  • To keep things simple, we offer a flat rate of shipping on items delivered throughout Ireland
  • We ship a maximum of 3 items per delivery, to reduce the risk of damage in transport
  • 24×36 inch prints, are sent individually because of the size and weight.

Our primary shipping method usually delivers within 2-5 days from dispatch.

Delivery Time

Generally, the process takes up to 2 weeks to complete – once we get your order, one of our designers will put together the artwork for you and send you a proof/image of how it will look, for you to check everything (please take care to check names, dates, spellings, etc at this point). The order is then on hold until you come back to us to approve / make changes to the artwork, so the quicker you can come back to us, then the quicker your order will be processed. Because of the large volume of orders we get, we don’t always have time to follow up and remind you after a few days, but will when we can.

When possible, we do our best to facilitate rush orders, so please make us aware when placing your order, and we’ll get back to you as quickly as possible to confirm if it’s possible.

Delivery Time is dependent on 2 factors:

  1. “Availability”. Every product detail’s page will show a value similar to “Usually Ships in 2-3 days”. It is also noted in the Shopping Cart, and informs you of how quickly an item will be ready to ship out. For example, some items will ship within 24 hours, others in a couple days. We do our best to ship items out as quickly as possible, so we often get orders out more quickly than is noted by the “Availability” timeframe, but please do not count on that.
  2. The method of delivery – our shipping method which normally takes 2-5 business days, and in some cases is an overnight delivery, but entirely at the discretion of the delivery company. Additionally, please note that delivery time is also based on “business” days. For example, if you place an order on Sunday, it’s impossible for us to ship an item the same day as all the couriers are closed.

Calculating Cost

We do not profit from shipping – your shipping cost will be exactly the same as we are charged by whichever shipping company is used to deliver your package. Shipping costs are calculated on the website automatically during Checkout based on the weight of the items you are purchasing.


Artwork Approval

When we receive your photos and text, one of our designers will work on the artwork and will send you a proof copy to check to see that you’re happy with everything. Please pay close attention to all of the text, especially with names, times and dates (and photo sizing/quality where applicable). Once you’re happy with the artwork just let us know and we will prepare the artwork for printing. You can take as long as you like to check this artwork before approving it, but your final delivery date depends on this approval date, so if your prints are urgent then it is advisable to check and approve this as soon as possible.

While we do our utmost to ensure that spelling or text errors are kept to a minimum, they are however unavoidable, Occasionsinprints.com are not responsible for any spelling or text errors after you approve the artwork, so please take extra care to ensure that this is correct. Once you approve artwork, this is final- reprints/refunds are not issued if errors are not corrected before final approval.


We will issue a refund, excluding any shipping and handling fees, for damaged and/or defective products returned within 30 days of purchase. All products must be returned in its original packaging and with all accessories to ensure a full credit.
